Voting Rights

Our elections need to be secure and I’m passionate about protecting our voting freedoms.

No one should be forced to stand in long lines or in hot temperatures to cast their ballot.

Mandating in-person voting means that many people, including the elderly and those with disabilities, will not be able to vote. I will fight to make sure everyone who’s eligible to vote from every background and zip code will be able to cast their ballot without an undue burden that would silence their voices.

Vote by mail and voting centers convenient to every voter in the state allow people of every age and ability to vote safely and securely, yet Republicans want to take away those rights.

We all care about election integrity. Our neighbors who serve as our election experts are Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and folks of other parties who come together to put election integrity ahead of party allegiance. I am grateful for the vital work they do to make our democracy work for all of us.
